This Alfea heat pump has been specially designed for refrigerant R32, and to best meet the thermal comfort needs of modern homes. The Alfea R32 range has the same features and benefits as the regular Alfea range, but has the additional advantage that this heat pump has the more environmentally friendly refrigerant R32. R32 is an HFC fluid that is considered a better alternative to R410A in terms of the environment and recycling.

Applications
The Alfea R32 heat pump is suitable for

1. Underfloor heating ideal thanks to the low water temperatures
2. Dynamic convectors ideal for rooms that prefer to be heated quickly heated or cooled such as bedrooms
3. Low-temperature radiators more energy efficient than classic radiators
4. Sanitary hot water through the Duo type with integrated boiler or by adding a three-way valve and boiler with built-in heat exchanger

Possible extensions

The Alfea R32 heat pump can be expanded with

• Solar collectors for hot tap water
• A bivalent kit to combine the heat pump with an existing gas boiler
• A cooling kit for cooling via LTV convectors or underfloor cooling

Strong performance
The strong energy performance of the Alfea R32 range is partly achieved by the further developed DC Twin Rotary compressor, the optimized inverter technology and the high-efficiency heat exchanger. These appliances effortlessly produce hot water of 55°C at an outside temperature of -20°C, and they do this without support heating.

Coaxial heat exchanger
The coaxial heat exchanger ensures a consistently high efficiency. The heat exchanger with integrated 16 liter buffer and the smart control defrost the heat pump without any problems, even in extreme weather conditions. The coaxial heat exchanger is insensitive to dirt, which makes the system efficient and reliable. The efficient operation of this heat exchanger ensures optimal heat exchange with a constant return.

Operation Atlantic Interface and CozyTouch
The Alfea R32 series is equipped with the latest Atlantic operating interface Navistem 400S with customizable menus and an Easy Start function for quick configuration. In addition, you can optionally use the Cozytouch application to control the thermal comfort in your home via your smartphone, easily manage your absences and visualize your consumption.

Weather-dependent control with outside sensor (optional)
The heat pump follows the set program using the weather-dependent controller and thus delivers the desired water temperature at the right time. The optional separate outdoor sensor ensures optimal comfort.

Cooling
Thanks to the optional cooling kit, the heat pump can also deliver chilled water of 10°C to 18°C ??to LTV convectors or to the underfloor heating circuit (max. 20 to 25W/m2).

R32 refrigerant
R32 is the refrigerant for this new Alfea series. The European Regulation F-Gas No. 517/2014 aims to ban the use of HFC gases (or hydrofluorocarbons) and the use of certain fluorinated greenhouse gases by 2030. R32 is an HFC fluid that is considered a good alternative to R410A, with several advantages

• A smaller impact on global warming compared to refrigerant R410A;
• Better thermal properties than R410A;
• Easier to recycle than R410A.
