For a pleasant temperature in your home and hot tap water, you no longer need natural gas and many kilowatts of power. It can be much more energy efficient and environmentally friendly with an Alfea air-water heat pump, because it literally removes the heat from the air. This way you are assured of a favorable EPC and optimal comfort. Thanks to the innovative heat exchanger, the smart control and the integrated buffer tank, the heat pump defrosts without any problems, even in extreme weather conditions. This makes the electric additional heat and an external buffer tank unnecessary. The coaxial heat exchanger (16L) serves as a buffer during the defrost cycle and is therefore also protected against contamination of the system. Optimal heat exchange is assured by using the heat exchanger twice. The inverter compressor directly regulates the water temperature based on the desired room temperature, taking the outside temperature into account.

Strong energy performance
The Atlantic air-to-water heat pumps excel in terms of energy efficiency, with COP figures up to 4.52. This performance is partly achieved by the further developed DC Twin Rotary compressor, the optimized inverter technology and the high-efficiency heat exchanger.

Heat comfort guaranteed
The Alfea has been developed to withstand cold winters. These appliances effortlessly produce hot water of 55 °C at an outside temperature of -20 °C, and they do this without support heating. The Excellia type (high temperature) with extra power even guarantees water of 60°C, a water temperature that standard radiators need to have sufficient heating comfort at cold outside temperatures.

Energy-efficient boilers for sanitary hot water
The combination Alfea Extensa (AI) 8 with 300 liter boiler WAH300a offers the highest tap water efficiency on the market in its class, with no less than 2.68 (class 4).
