iStop® - Frost protection valve with air sensor

The frost protection valve allows the fluid to be drained from the circuit when its temperature reaches an average value of 3 °C. This prevents ice formation in the circuit of an installation, usually with a heat pump, and potential damage to the machine and pipes.

Body made of brass.
Pmax.: 10 bar.
Temperature range: 0–65 °C.
Ambient temperature range: -30–60 °C.

Anti-freeze function (water sensor).
Opening temperature: 3 °C.
Closing temperature: 4 °C.

Activation of anti-freeze function at low outside temperature < 5 °C.
