How does the Xtore work? The Xtore contains a heating coil through which hot central heating water flows. This hot central heating water, coming from the heat pump, heats the cold tap water before it enters the central heating boiler. The central heating boiler usually doesn't need to or only minimally reheats the water when there's a hot water demand, which results in significant gas savings. The Xtore works only in combination with an Xtend and an Intergas central heating boiler.
