The Itho Daalderop Duo Boiler is a low-power boiler, which results in a longer standard heating time. However, with the use of a timer, the water can be heated more quickly, reducing the heating time by half. The boiler is often installed in locations that use off-peak night-time electricity. This means an additional or separate phase wire to the boiler, allowing it to be turned on from the meter cupboard using a timer or smart meter. The boiler requires a continuous phase, which enables the accelerated heating when the off-peak phase has no voltage.
