The compact aroTHERM pure air-water heat pump outdoor unit has a floor area of ??approximately half a square meter and is therefore the perfect choice for both a single-family home and an apartment if you are looking for a space-saving yet cost-effective heat pump solution.

Hybrid heat pump system with central heating boiler
Due to the compact size and powers of 4 to 10 kW, a suitable hybrid heat pump system can be designed for every type of home. The newly designed indoor part of the aroTHERM pure hybrid system can also be installed with or without a backup heater. With a backup heater you are optimally prepared for a future all-electric situation.

Smart hybrid manager
In a hybrid setup, the aroTHERM pure uses renewable energy optimally. The triVAI hybrid manager offers the option to specify both the current gas and electricity prices. Based on the outside temperature, the controller then calculates what is the most economically advantageous option turning on the heat pump or using the central heating boiler for space heating. This allows optimal savings on energy costs, without sacrificing comfort.

All-electric heat pump solution
In addition to hybrid, the aroTHERM pure can also be used as an all-electric solution in combination with a uniTOWER pure hydraulic tower - with 190 liter boiler - for hot tap water. This indoor unit is about the size of a refrigerator. All necessary system components are built-in, for example the hot water boiler and the backup heater. The connections placed at the top make it particularly practical to mount this unit directly against the wall - and it can even be built into a niche, such as in a kitchen.
