Future-Proof
In the future, it may be possible to heat using natural gas with up to 20% hydrogen mixed in. Hydrogen is a promising energy source that could ultimately enable the transition to a CO2-neutral energy supply. Our ecoTEC plus is already suitable for a 20% hydrogen blend with natural gas. The boiler has been thoroughly tested and validated to heat homes and supply hot water safely with 20% hydrogen, without any modifications.
Additionally, the ecoTEC plus is hybrid ready; the heating system can be expanded with a heat pump. This allows you to use renewable energy sources and heat more efficiently than ever before. Management or remote control is possible with the optional sensoNET gateway in combination with the sensoAPP.
